The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Olusola Idowu, has commissioned newly completed 600-bed hostel facilities and a modern Architecture Studio at Bowen University, Iwo.
The commissioning, which took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, featured a 300-bed male hostel and a 300-bed female hostel, providing improved accommodation for students and supporting the university's commitment to a conducive learning environment.
Also commissioned was the Architecture Studio, an important facility designed to support teaching, creativity, practical training, and professional development for students of Architecture.
Rev. Dr. Idowu carried out the commissioning activities alongside his wife, Pastor Folashade Idowu.
The NBC President commended the leadership, management, staff, students, and all those whose dedication and contributions made the completion of the projects possible.
The newly commissioned facilities are expected to serve generations of students and further strengthen Bowen University's commitment to quality education, innovation, and academic excellence.
