The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Olusola David Idowu, has visited the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, as part of activities marking the ongoing Men’s Missionary Union (MMU) Congress in the state. Rev. Dr. Idowu was accompanied by his wife, principal officers of the Men’s Missionary Union and leaders of the Bayelsa Baptist Conference during the visit. The NBC President expressed appreciation to Governor Diri for receiving the delegation and for his support and hospitality throughout the visit. He noted that the engagement provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and foster greater collaboration as the Baptist community continues its mission and service. The visit was one of the activities surrounding the ongoing MMU Congress in Bayelsa State, bringing together Baptist men and leaders for fellowship, engagement and discussions on advancing the work of the Church. The NBC President thanked God for the opportunity and prayed for continued grace and impact in the work of the Convention.
